Gruyères

Straight out of a fairytale: a charming medieval village surrounded by mountains. Walk the old streets, visit the castle and, of course, enjoy some Swiss cheese.

Montreux

Lake Geneva with a Riviera vibe: a lakeside promenade, stunning mountain views and a relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for a family stroll, especially at sunset.

Sigriswil

For the views! The turquoise-blue water of Lake Thun surrounded by the Alps makes this spot absolutely magical.

Maison Cailler

A must for chocolate lovers: discover the history of Swiss chocolate, explore the museum and, of course, taste it. One of our favourite family stops.

A little tip for K-drama fans: some Swiss landscapes from "Crash Landing on You" are real places you can visit, so you can turn your itinerary into your own little series adventure.

Our tips for the mountains with kids

• Choose a child-friendly destination with easy access and activities for different ages
• Don't overload your schedule: one beautiful walk, a relaxed lunch and the view are often enough
• Plan activities for the whole family, mixing adventure, discovery and fun
• Think about the weather without letting it decide everything: have a Plan B, pack the right clothes, and remember a cloudy day can still make wonderful memories
• Choose accommodation that makes family life easier: good location, family-friendly facilities and enough space
